Navajo Storm Pattern with Birds Weaving

Storm Pattern Weaving handwoven by Navajo (Diné) weaver, Daisy Tisi. The weaving features a classic Storm Pattern design in a balanced composition of gray, black, white, and red, with colorful pictorial birds woven along the top and bottom. 

Traditionally, the Storm Pattern centers around a central element connected to the four corners by stepped lines, commonly interpreted as lightning extending toward the four sacred mountains of the Diné homeland.
