1990s Wide Ruins Weaving handwoven by Navajo (Diné) weaver, Lillian Joe. The weaving is composed in finely detailed horizontal bands with geometric motifs. Woven in vegetal-dyed wool, the weaving features the soft pink, mauve, tan, and earth-tone palette characteristic of the Wide Ruins tradition. Lillian Joe was known for her fine weaving and extensive use of vegetal-dyed yarns.
