1950s Number Eight Turquoise Cuff

1950s Navajo sterling silver cuff bracelet set with five old Number Eight Turquoise stones. The stones display bright blue coloration with distinctive brown and black spiderweb matrix, arranged across a wide oxidized silver face.

The bracelet has an unusual sculptural construction, with a broad framed face accented by hand-stamped details and a substantial multi-wire shank that opens into geometric forms along the sides. The combination of early Number Eight Turquoise, heavy silverwork, and the architectural cuff construction gives the piece a particularly strong mid-century Navajo appearance.
