1930s Teec Nos Pos
Tribe: Navajo (Dinรฉ)
Item #WA01039
Handwoven in the 1930s from hand-carded and spun wool, this Navajo Teec Nos Pos weaving showcases the intricate geometric designs and bold visual complexity that define the regional style. Natural wool colors are complemented by rich red, black, ivory, and subtle accent colors, creating a striking, well-balanced composition. This antique weaving remains in great overall condition, with only a few small stains in the ivory field, making it a fine example of early Teec Nos Pos weaving.
