Navajo Inlay Earrings

Navajo sterling silver post earrings featuring channel inlay of turquoise, opal, and sugilite. The geometric inlay is framed in a sleek, tapered sterling silver setting.

These earrings come from a collection and were originally made as clip earrings before being converted to posts. There are abrasions and tooling marks on the backs from the conversion, which obscure the original maker’s hallmark. The artist is therefore unidentified, but the earrings are stamped STERLING.
