1960s Zuni Knifewing Cuff
Tribe: Zuni
Item #BR08862
1960s sterling silver Zuni cuff bracelet featuring a traditional Knifewing figure executed in intricate stone inlay. The design incorporates mother of pearl shell, coral, natural American turquoise, and jet, carefully shaped and fitted to form the stylized Knifewing design. The figure is framed by fine silver bezel work, applied appliqué drops, and decorative scroll details. The wide cuff is constructed with heavy silver rails and twisted wire accents, with subtle stampwork along the outer bands. Bold in scale and rich in detail, this bracelet is a striking example of classic Zuni lapidary craftsmanship.
