翼を広げ、尾を大きく広げた様式化されたサンダーバードを象った、1940年代のナバホ族のシルバーピン。手作業で刻印された羽毛のディテールが翼と尾を際立たせ、顔や胴体にも刻印によるアクセントが施されています。裏面には初期スタイルのピン留め金具が取り付けられています。無記名。
サンダーバードは、伝統的に嵐や雨、空の力を司る強力な鳥の姿として描かれます。
