ナバホ・スターリングシルバー製ピン。もともとは1940年代に、ナバホ族の女性用ベルベットブラウスやドレスの襟元に付ける襟飾りとして作られました。伝統的なナバホの刻印と打ち出し細工が施されたこの作品には、もともと衣服に縫い付けるための銅製ループが付いていました。その後、ループが取り外され、ピン金具が取り付けられたことで、歴史的なデザインと個性を保ちながら、実用的なピンまたはブローチへと生まれ変わりました。
