1970s Navajo Turquoise Necklace

1970s Navajo Sterling Silver Necklace set with Natural American Turquoise. The necklace features a large turquoise stone displaying blue-green color with prominent brown matrix. The stone is set in a handmade silver pendant accented with silver leaves, drops, and stamped details. The pendant is strung on a single strand of handmade sterling silver bench beads interspersed with fluted melon beads and elongated silver beads, and finished with a traditional hook-and-eye clasp. The pendant has a shepherd’s hook bale and can be removed from the beads and worn separately.
