1970s Concho Belt

Vintage Cochiti (circa 1970s) Sterling Silver Concho Belt. This piece features hand hammered ingot silver with hand stamped and filed designs. Joe H. Quintana (Cochiti Pueblo, 1915 - 1991) is widely considered to be one of the greatest southwestern silversmiths of the 20th century. His innovative silversmithing designs combined both traditional and modernist styles. Quintana’s son and grandson are the incredibly talented award winning silversmiths, Cippy Crazyhorse and Waddie Crazyhorse.
