Turquoise Mountain Eagle Pendant
Tribe: Hopi
Made in 2000, this sterling silver pendant by Victor Coochwytewa features a bold overlay depiction of an eagle with outstretched wings and set with natural turquoise from the Turquoise Mountain mine in Arizona. In Hopi tradition, the eagle is a revered messenger and protector, symbolizing strength, vision, and a spiritual link to the heavens. Coochwytewa’s detailed linework and layered technique give the wings dynamic movement, while the large turquoise stone anchors the piece with vibrant color and earth energy. Handcrafted in Victor’s hallmark overlay style and hung on a 24” handmade Hopi chain.
Part of the historic Kopavi Collection, this pendant has never been previously owned.
