Hopi Eagle Tail Jar

Hand-coiled and traditionally fired Hopi-Tewa pottery jar by Steve Lucas. Its low, rounded form features a polished red lower body and a warm golden slip, encircled by finely painted eagle-tail feathers and complementary feather motifs in black, red, cream, and white.

Signed “S. Lucas” on the base with the artist’s Mudhead and Corn Clan hallmark symbols.
