Antique (1940s) Three Strand Zuni Fetish Necklace with Hand Rolled Tortoise Shell Heishi Beads and Hand Carved Zuni Fetishes made from Turquoise, Coral, Spiny Oyster Shell Abalone Shell, Mother of Pearl, and Jet. This fetish necklace comes with the original matching earrings featuring tortoise shell heishi beads and inlaid turquoise and jet flowers.

Leekya Deyuse is widely considered the most notable Zuni fetish carver of all time. He was born in 1889 and worked with CG Wallace. His work strongly influenced all later Zuni artists and his work is collected all over the world. “Old Man” Leekya Deyuse passed away in 1966.
