Early 2000s sterling silver pendant by renowned Sedona artist Don Staats. This substantial design features Nevada variscite, spiny oyster shell, and charoite set in hand-cut serrated bezels. The reverse is engraved with Southwestern landscape imagery and Staats’ signature.
Don Staats (1938-2020) was a non-Native artist and longtime Sedona resident known for combining unusual natural stones in bold, sculptural jewelry.
