1990s Man-in-the-Maze basket by Tohono O’odham weaver Rose Ramon. Handwoven from natural yucca fibers, the flat basket plaque features the Man in the Maze design in reddish-brown and light yucca. A woven loop allows the basket to be displayed on a wall.
The Man in the Maze is an important O’odham design representing life’s journey and the choices, challenges, and experiences encountered along the way.
