The Yellow Snake Kachina, or Sikya Tuwa-tcua, is part of the powerful Snake Dance ceremony. He represents prayers sent to the underworld and is closely tied to rain and agricultural fertility. As a messenger of the Snake Clan, his role is vital to the Hopi understanding of life’s cyclical flow.
