Turquoise Mountain Concho Belt

Masterpiece Sterling Silver Concho Belt with 11 Oval Conchos Showcasing Intricate Hopi Overlay Designs of Bears, Rain Clouds, and Prayer Feathers. Each concho is set with a natural turquoise stone from the Turquoise Mountain Mine in Arizona, with vivid blues and greens with a golden matrix. The matching buckle features a bear paw motif and equally refined overlay work. The conchos and buckle are mounted on a custom 1.5” wide black leather belt with hand-tooled stamping. This piece is by acclaimed Hopi silversmith John Coochyumptewa and is one of the few known concho belts ever made by the artist.
