Hope Etsitty

Hope Aquila Etsitty was born on May 30, 1991 in Gallup, New Mexico to Veronica Benally and the late Douglas Etsitty.

Hope was born and raised in Gallup where there are more jewelers per capita than any other place on the Navajo Nation. Her mother, Veronica and stepfather, Ernest Benally are both talented jewelers. They are Hope’s biggest influences with her inlay jewelry.

Hope loves watching the night sky and has been inspired by the stars and the moon, and one can see that in her jewelry.

In Hope’s spare time, she loves to draw and listen to music. Her favorite sports are basketball and baseball.
