Framed and Matted Navajo Sandpainting by Eugene Baatsoslanii Joe. This still life sandpainting beautifully presents a lifelike Navajo ceremonial basket and a replica of a Tony Da pottery vase and bear, accompanied by geometric and petroglyph designs. The pottery design is set with genuine turquoise stones, adding depth and texture to the artwork. Navajo sandpaintings are created solely from crushed rocks and minerals. Various hues of sand are meticulously arranged to form intricate paintings, without the use of paints or additional colors.
