1930s Hopi Vase

1940s Hopi pottery vase featuring a tall, cylindrical form. The vessel is decorated with hand-painted bird elements in a Sikyatki Revival style, rendered in earthy brown and red pigments. The design wraps continuously around the form, with abstracted avian figures, flowing lines, and geometric accents that reference historic Hopi pottery traditions. The surface shows age-related wear, including areas of abrasion, surface cracking, and patina consistent with an older piece.
