Amber Corn Maiden Necklace

Single strand Zuni fetish necklace by Burt Awelagte, featuring hand-carved amber corn tabs, a central corn maiden fetish, and coordinating amber and tiger’s eye beads with turquoise and lapis accents. The carved corn forms reference abundance, sustenance, and the importance of corn within Pueblo life, while the maiden figure adds a traditional Zuni figural element to the necklace. Finished with oxidized sterling silver cones and clasp.
