Hopi Butterfly Maiden Wood Box

Handcrafted hinged wood box by Hopi artist Ted Pavatea. The raised lid is carved and painted with a colorful depiction of Poli Mana, the Hopi Butterfly Maiden, surrounded by stepped cloud designs. The box closes magnetically and features a soft black-lined interior for storing jewelry or other small keepsakes.
