1980s Coral and Opal Ring

1980s sterling silver statement ring by Navajo artist Larry Castillo. The ring features a bold, asymmetrical triangular design inlaid with red coral and iridescent opal. Long coral channels form the outer border, while the raised interior setting contains geometric sections of coral and opal framed by smooth sterling silver.

The dimensional, architectural construction and broad tapered band give the ring a distinctly modernist character. It is hallmarked “LC” on the interior of the band.
