Gold on Silver Buckle

Sterling Silver and 14K Gold Pueblo Scene Buckle by Hopi artist Greg Naseyouma. The buckle depicts daily life within a Hopi village, with pueblo architecture, ladders, figures grinding corn, flute players, distant mountains, and rain clouds. The deeply textured and oxidized background creates dramatic contrast against the polished sterling silver overlay.

Details of the sun, lightning, and fire are wrought in 14K gold, adding warmth and emphasis to the pictorial composition. The buckle is signed on the reverse by the artist.
