1970s Turquoise Inlay Buckle

1970s Zuni sterling silver buckle with a channel inlaid “hummingbird wing” design using natural American turquoise. The oval form features a radiating turquoise layout with a pierced central motif, creating a strong, graphic composition typical of Quandelacy-family work. Cleanly executed with well-fitted inlay and balanced proportions, this piece shows light wear consistent with age. Attributed to the Quandelacy family, from a collection that includes signed pieces by Ellen Quandelacy.
