Six Directions Fetish Set

Hand-carved Zuni Six Directions fetish by Fabian Tsethlikai. Six guardian animals are arranged upon a cross-shaped stone base, with each representing its traditional direction and associated color:

Yellow Mountain Lion — North
Blue Bear — West
Red Badger — South
White Wolf — East
Multicolored Eagle — Above
Black Mole — Below

The eagle is elevated above the central mole on a silver rod. Each animal is carved from an appropriately colored stone and accented with inlaid eyes. The underside is inscribed with the artist’s name and a key identifying the animals, colors, and directions.
