Male Cow Kachina

Old-Style Male Wakas (Cow) Kachina carved in a traditional Hopi manner with a protruding snout showing painted teeth, carved horns, and large red ears with a “Hopi” Earring. Wakas appears in ceremonial dances as a symbol of nourishment, abundance, and the prosperity that livestock bring to village life.

Old-style Kachinas are traditionally made for hanging, and this figure includes a loop on the back for wall display.
