Sterling silver overlay collar necklace by renowned Hopi artist Victor Coochwytewa, created in 1978. This striking piece features traditional Hopi overlay designs representing clouds and water, crafted with exceptional precision and balance. Clouds and water assure the “great life blessing” of water is promised. “Water is life,” say the Hopi. Water insures all life will prosper, bringing great blessings. The necklace is set with seven natural, high-grade Burnham turquoise stones from Nevada, known for their rich blue tones and intricate matrix. A large central pendant with matching overlay and turquoise centerpiece anchors the design, and the collar is finished with a handmade sterling silver link chain.

Part of the historic Kopavi Collection, this necklace has never been previously owned.
