Supai Uncle Kachina

Hand-Carved and Painted Supai Uncle (Taha Konina) Kachina with Feathers and a Leather Quiver. Supai Uncle is known as an accompanying dancer to the Supai Kachina and is connected with Hopi stories involving the Supai people and their historic interactions with the Hopi. 

“Old-style” Kachinas are traditionally made with a loop or string so they can be hung on a wall for display.
