1880s Navajo Transitional child’s blanket woven with handspun wool, aniline dyes, and natural indigo blue. A vivid red ground is organized with a vertical row of stepped diamonds, flanked by serrated black-and-cream bands and smaller blue diamond motifs. The blanket is in excellent condition and retains strong color and finely executed geometric detail.
