Zuni Sterling Silver Post Earrings with Ears of Corn carved from Pink Coral, the kernels detailed by hand and accented with tiny dots of Turquoise, Mediterranean Coral and Malachite. Each ear of corn is framed in Sterling Silver, with a Sterling Silver Bead at the base. Handcrafted by Zuni artist, Tracy E. Bowekaty.

Corn holds a central place in Zuni life and ceremony. It is associated with sustenance, fertility and the renewal of life, and is honored in Zuni tradition through the Corn Maidens and the prayers and dances for a good harvest.
