Navajo Storm Pattern Weaving

Storm Pattern weaving by Navajo (Diné) weaver, Shanna Tisi. Woven in natural wool colors with red accents, the weaving features a a white storm pattern motif.

Traditionally, the Storm Pattern centers around a central element connected to the four corners by stepped lines, commonly interpreted as lightning extending toward the four sacred mountains of the Diné homeland.
