1920s Apache Hand-Coiled Bowl Basket from Willow and Devil’s Claw Depicting Human Figures. Apache baskets are woven from willow rods and bark, which are white when fresh. Over time, the willow oxidizes and changes color to a beautiful golden, caramel color as seen in this piece.
