Jet and Abalone Shell Necklace

Two-strand necklace by Nestoria “Pat” Coriz, Kewa/Santo Domingo Pueblo, featuring jet beads accented with sterling silver tubular beads with stamped designs. The necklace is finished with sterling silver cones and clasp, and includes a matching pendant set with jet and abalone shell in sterling silver channelwork. The pendant can be removed from the necklace and worn separately. It also comes with a shepherd’s hook and can be removed from its own bail, allowing it to be worn without the bail. The pendant is stamped “N.P. Coriz” and “Sterling” on the back. (Early 2000s)
