1940s Navajo Two Grey Hills Weaving Handwoven from Handspun Natural Undyed Wool in Brown, Gray, Ivory, and Black. A central column of stepped diamonds with cross motifs is surrounded by interlocking fret and hook designs, with serrated elements at each corner, and is framed by an ivory fret border and a solid black outer border. The natural, undyed palette and intricate design are characteristic of the Two Grey Hills weaving tradition, which developed near the Two Grey Hills Trading Post in northwestern New Mexico.
