Hopi Eagle Tail Bowl

Hopi Eagle Tail Bowl by Kyle Kootswatewa, hand-coiled and traditionally outdoor fired. The warm clay body is hand painted with bold black eagle tail feather designs around the exterior, accented by fine linear details and a simple interior. The natural firing variation and slight surface darkening along the rim reflect the traditional firing process. Eagle feathers are highly significant in Hopi culture and are often associated with prayer, strength, and a connection to the spiritual world.
