Colorful Zuni Fetish Necklace

Single strand Zuni fetish necklace by Georgianne “Georgia” Quandelacy, featuring hand-carved bird fetishes in turquoise, spiny oyster shell, jet, and picasso marble. The strand is accented with turquoise, spiny oyster shell, Mediterranean coral, and malachite beads, and finished with a sterling silver clasp. Bird fetishes are often associated with guidance, perspective, and connection between the earth and sky in Zuni carving traditions. Made in the 1990s, signed, "Quandelacy".
