This wide sterling silver cuff by Hopi silversmith Ricky Coochwytewa features two intricately detailed Starblower figures, symbols of illumination, truth, and revelation. According to Hopi tradition, the Starblower brings light into darkness, both literally and spiritually. The dynamic figures are surrounded by bursts of stars and lightning motifs, representing power, transformation, and cosmic energy.

At the center of the design is a stunning cabochon of natural Bisbee Turquoise from Arizona, renowned for its rich blue hue and chocolate matrix.

The Starblower design was introduced into Hopi jewelry by master silversmith, Victor Coochwytewa. As is customary, this design was passed on to Victor’s son, Ricky Coochwytewa, to carry on his artistic legacy. Ricky continues his father’s mastery of composition, symmetry, and symbolism.
