Hopi Starblowers Cuff
Tribe: Hopi
18k Gold on Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet Featuring an Overlaid Hopi “Starblower” Design, with Natural Full Cut Round Brilliant Diamonds set into Each Star, 21 Diamonds in Total. The Starblower design symbolizes a spiritual being who sends stars into the sky. The Starblower is a rock art figure found on the cliffs below the village of Old Oraibi on Hopi’s Third Mesa. The Starblower brings light into darkness, revealing truth and positivity. His “instrument” not only emits light, but also sound, therefore, this spiritual being possesses the power of sound vibration and light. These two forces were well understood for their role in creation and their impact on the spiritual and material world. The Starblower design was introduced into Hopi jewelry by master silversmith, Victor Coochwytewa. Learn more about the Starblower here.
