Teec Nos Pos

This Teec Nos Pos weaving by Navajo artist Elsie Begay features the region's complex style with stacked, overlapping diamonds on a black field. Each diamond contains detailed small motifs—arrows, crosses, and zigzags—in bright accents of turquoise, yellow, red, green, and purple, edged by a serrated turquoise-and-red border.

Handwoven with processed wool using natural wool colors and aniline dyes for the vivid highlights. Tight weave and strong color contrast throughout.
