Santa Clara Wedding Vase

Hand-coiled and traditionally fired Santa Clara blackware wedding vase by Anita Pino, featuring a graceful double-spout form connected by a sculpted bridge handle. The vessel is finished in a polished black surface with hand painted geometric designs painted in matte black.  The wedding vase is a traditional piece of Pueblo pottery symbolizing the union of two lives; each spout represents one partner, and the central handle signifies the bridge that joins them in marriage.
