1940s Klagetoh

1940s Navajo Klagetoh Weaving handwoven with handspun wool in natural wool colors and aniline-dyed red. This large weaving features the bold central diamond composition and contrasting geometric designs characteristic of the Klagetoh style.

Klagetoh weavings developed near the Klagetoh Trading Post in northeastern Arizona and are recognized for combining the strong central layouts of Ganado weavings with the natural gray, brown, black, and cream palette associated with Two Grey Hills.
