Starblower Cuff

Sterling silver overlay bracelet featuring the Hopi figure known as the Starblower, a symbolic being recognized for his power associated with sound vibration and light. The Starblower brings light into darkness and reveals truth and positivity. The central figure is shown with a star inside its body and a lightning bolt extends from the figure, an uncommon but striking interpretation for the Starblower. This imagery reflects the deep Hopi reverence for the cosmos and the interconnectedness of life and the universe. Made in 2004, near the end of Victor Coochwytewa’s career.
