Navajo Eagle Dancer Pendant

Navajo sterling silver Eagle Dancer Kachina pendant by Toby Henderson. The figure is constructed in Henderson’s distinctive dimensional style, with broad outstretched wings, a sculptural mask, layered silverwork, and individually formed feather elements.

The pendant is richly detailed with applied silver drops, twisted wire, hand-stamped accents, and hammered texture throughout the body. The many separately formed and soldered components give the figure strong depth, movement, and a sculptural quality.

Toby Henderson was a Navajo silversmith known for elaborate figural silverwork, particularly Kachinas and ceremonial figures. He passed away in 2019. The pendant is signed “TH” and stamped “Handmade Sterling Navajo.”
