1980s Sterling silver ring set with Sleeping Beauty Turquoise from Arizona, by renowned Northern Cheyenne jeweler Ben Nighthorse Campbell.

The ring features a bold contemporary design with an oxidized, textured geometric pattern surrounding the stone. Hand-stamped feather motifs decorate each side of the setting, while the broad tapered band gives the piece a substantial feel. Signed BEN NIGHTHORSE and stamped STERLING on the interior.

Ben Nighthorse Campbell is known for combining traditional Native American jewelry techniques with distinctive contemporary design. In addition to his career as a jeweler, he served as a United States Senator from Colorado from 1993 to 2005, making him one of the most prominent Native American political figures of his generation.
