Navajo Coral Eagle Dancer Pendant

Navajo sterling silver Eagle Dancer Kachina pendant by Toby Henderson. The figure is constructed in a highly dimensional style with outstretched wings, a sculptural mask, applied silver elements, and a natural red coral cabochon set at the center.

The feathers are exceptionally detailed, with each fine line individually hand stamped into the silver. Creating the wings and lower featherwork would have required hundreds of individual hammer strikes, giving the piece remarkable texture and depth.

Toby Henderson was a Navajo silversmith known for elaborate figural silverwork, particularly Kachinas and ceremonial figures. He passed away in 2019. This pendant is signed “TH” and stamped “Handmade Sterling Navajo.”
