1920s Panamint Basket

A 1920s Panamint very finely hand-coiled, slightly oval bowl-form basket, masterfully worked with eight geometric columns running from sections of partial rim ticking to the base. The design is stylized meandering snake patterns, stacked bands of negative coyote tracks, and stacked cross motifs.
