This beautifully crafted piece features a panel of woven corn husk with bold geometric designs, stitched to soft tanned deer hide and lined with a floral jacquard fabric. The top is embroidered with the year "1917" in decorative stitching, and the back includes a leather tie closure along with a leather loop for hanging.

Nez Perce corn husk bags were traditionally made by women to carry personal items and are celebrated for their tightly twined weaving, striking patterns, and durable construction.
