Man in the Maze Buckle

An exquisite western-style belt buckle, masterfully crafted by renowned Hopi silversmith Jason Takala. This buckle features the iconic "Man in the Maze" design in rich 14k gold overlay on sterling silver. The Man in the Maze design represents a person's journey through life, from birth at the entrance, through the twists and turns symbolizing choices, challenges, experiences, and growth—toward the center, where one achieves dreams, harmony, reflection, and ultimately death or transition to the eternal.

Radiating from the gold maze are intricately cut eagle feathers incorporating traditional prayer feathers and swirling water symbols, evoking themes of spiritual guidance, renewal, and prosperity. Hand-signed "Jason Takala" with his hallmark on the reverse.
