Kopavi Flute Player Cuff

1980s sterling silver bracelet by renowned Hopi artist Victor Coochwytewa featuring a procession of Kopavi flute players rendered in precise overlay technique. Each flute player carries a “wigaro” (water carrier) on his back and a bag of seeds in his hand.  Each flute player is also depicted in motion, giving rhythm and life to the cuff’s clean and minimalist design. The strong, balanced composition and fine detail are hallmarks of Coochwytewa’s celebrated work.

Part of the historic Kopavi Collection, this bracelet has never been previously owned.
